Focusing on those most in need…

Collaboration

Collaboration is an important guiding principle for the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland. It creates opportunities to complement, strengthen, and connect organizations with common or related goals and a range of expertise. A criterion for review and evaluation across program areas, the Foundation also looks to collaboration to leverage limited resources.

The Foundation initiates and/or supports collaborations in its strategic focus areas. Some examples in the past include the:

  • Health Policy Institute of Ohio,
  • Greater Cleveland Access to Benefits Coalition,
  • Invest in Children, and the
  • Education Advisory Committee of the Ohio Grantmakers Forum.

The Foundation also participates in community collaborations that reach beyond the focus areas to a broader range of challenges for our community. Community collaborations include the Fund for Our Economic Future and the Senior Transportation Connection of Cuyahoga County.
