COMMUNITY COLLABORATIONS

Frequently, the philanthropic community initiates collaboration, sometimes with government partners, to address a particular challenge facing our community. These collaborations create opportunities for greater efficiency, stronger advocacy, and more robust funding than a single foundation. The Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland is open to participation in those collaborations which align with our mission of improving the lives of people in need.
Some examples of past collaboration include the:

Education Advisory Committee of the Ohio Grantmakers Forum

The Foundation also participates in community collaborations that reach beyond our focus areas to a broader range of challenges for our community. The Foundation, for example, has helped support Fund for Our Economic Future and the Senior Transportation Connection of Cuyahoga County.

We also collaborate with other local foundations, including The George Gund Foundation and The Cleveland Foundation, on initiatives.

Inquiries regarding foundation or government-initiated collaborations are directed to Joan Mazzolini, communications officer. Call her at 216-241-9300 ext. 224 or e-mail her at jmazzolini@socfcleveland.org.
