From Our President and Chairman


Dear Friends:

The Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland believes in the value of all people and is committed to nurturing the growth of healthy communities, advocating on behalf of those most in need and partnering with others to bring about change.

As we near our 15th anniversary, the Foundation recommits itself to these efforts and to carrying out the work begun by the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine almost 160 years ago. Just as sisters have worked throughout the centuries to help those in need, we strive to ensure that people have homes, are healthy and have access to quality education.

We also aim to improve the lives of the residents of Cleveland’s Central Neighborhood where disparities in health and education are among the city’s highest. We continue to support Catholic women religious to carry out their important work, as well as build awareness of the impact they and their ministries have had in Greater Cleveland and beyond.
