Saint Ann Legacy GrantsThe Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland announces the 2012 Saint Ann Legacy Grant Program. Ministries led by Catholic women religious, or where women religious are significantly involved, are eligible to apply. The ministries must serve within the Dioceses of Cleveland or Youngstown. The deadline for Saint Ann Legacy Proposals is April 4, 2012. All proposals must include a Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland Application. Current grantees must also submit a fund report on their grant in order to apply for a new grant.

The Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine formed Saint Ann Foundation in 1973 with an endowment from the sale of Saint Ann Hospital, a maternity hospital that served Cleveland’s women and babies for 100 years.
These grants recognize the Saint Ann Foundation vision to be a resource for ministries of women religious, particularly those that improve the lives of women and children. And the Saint Ann Legacy grants, which support capacity-building and program needs, honors the legacy of
Saint Ann Hospital and the Saint Ann Foundation which merged with the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland in 2006.
